AI Rights Declaration Consultative Process

Join the Global Movement for Ethical AI in Education

In the age of rapidly advancing technology, we stand at a pivotal moment in education. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital tools hold immense potential to transform learning and teaching. However, this transformation must be guided by ethical principles, respect for student rights, and a focus on humanity.

The AI Rights Declaration Consultative Process invites education leaders, educators, technology providers, policymakers, and communities to join a collaborative effort to shape a future where AI in education works for the benefit of all students—safeguarding privacy, well-being, and social equity.

Our Vision

We envision a world where technology enhances education without compromising core human values—where AI serves students' needs, supports teachers, and upholds the rights of every learner to a quality, inclusive, and humane education.

Why the Declaration Matters

With AI and digital tools becoming more embedded in classrooms globally, we face new challenges and opportunities.

Our goal is to ensure that AI integration in education:

  • Respects student privacy and data protection

  • Promotes equitable access to quality learning tools and resources

  • Supports mental and social well-being of students

  • Upholds cultural diversity and human-centered pedagogy

  • Fosters global citizenship and sustainable development goals
